It was so lovely. There was wine. There was a hot tub. And the house was right on the lake! On the second night, the lovely Laura and I were brave souls and took the sea kayak out at sunset. We paddled all over, ogling the amazing properties that backed up to the water.
These were all shot on my D3000, manual focus(!), with my f/1.8.
And this weekend I'm going to officiate Shelly's wedding! Crazy, right? By the power vested in me by the interent...
I'm still deciding how much shooting I want to do at the wedding. I hate to feel too tied down to my camera when there is drinking and dancing to be had! And a professional photographer...and a groom with a camera habit... I'm considering just bringing a bunch of black and white film, dancing the night away, and calling it a day.
