a Maine love story
I mean, I know this seems a little forward since we don't actually know each other very well. We haven't spent more than six weeks at a time together, but, you really seem to get me. Exploring your summer lakes and fields and winding roads is an amazing way to spend a day. I find your downtown cobblestones really attractive, and the ocean views are exactly what I'm looking for. In a state. No other puts me at ease the way you do.
So, this may be a little forward, but I'd like to spend more time together. I know we are sort of far away from one another and that you have to stay where you are at the moment, but, and I don't say this lightly: I could come to you? If you'd like? I've started running and would like to get more into outdoor sports - so I'm getting ready for whatever you can throw at me. And have I mentioned that I make a mean zucchini loaf?
We can take it slow at first, but just say the word, Maine, and I'll hop on a plane to be with you.
Enough of that. 'Cause, guys, Sean and Maya got married! In Maine! (Obviously.) I was merely a guest at this beautiful wedding outside Portland, but managed to get a couple of shots in. The trip up from DC was just what the doctor ordered and I couldn't have been more thrilled to reunite with so many sweet and wonderful folks from college and my first few years in Washington, DC. It was an especially lovely event and I was so happy to be there. I am feeling so much love in my heart this week.

All photos mine, except the ones I'm in. Thanks to Phil A. and Julia P. for taking those shots.
