amok! amok amok amok!

Even though this year I didn't find the time to carve a pumpkin or watch my very favorite Sarah Jessica Parker movie, (Hocus Pocus, duh), I had a grand ol' time celebrating Halloween. I forgot how much fun house parties can be. Especially with friends who've long been far away and everyone looks a fool.














These are from my first extended period of shooting with my NEW camera and NEW lens. And let me tell you: life-changing. Amazing what the 50mm, f1.4 can do in low light and what a difference the D7000's high ISO range makes. There's a lot of grain, but there's also plenty of light!
