I spent a long weekend in Vermont for my 5 year (actually 4.5 year) reunion. It was predictably gorgeous weather; lush green, glowing mountains. I didn't get much sleep, but really, who needs it when there is the old, calling smell of the mornings, good friends and quietness to wake to. I took a lot of shots, but that silly 50mm prime, f1.8 won't autofocus when attached to my sorry little D3000, and on f1.8 (which I can't tear myself away from) focusing manually is tricky. Here are a couple that I like, anyway. (Look at me learning things!)
