When Carolyn, Paul & I picked the date for the engagement session, we were hoping for blooming hyacinths, but instead we hit the cherry. blossom. jackpot. The coup d'etat of DC spring-time! It was seriously glorious out and Carolyn and Paul were a dream. They had so many ideas - including the mango picnic with Kavalier and Clay (a book they've been reading aloud to each other for ages). They introduced me to an amazing little Cleveland Park courtyard that I can't wait to go back and explore. It was such a nice day. I only wish they'd brought along their pet snake!
