Maternity Session - Kristen

Kristen and I met on the illustrious Bolt Bus from DC to NYC over a year ago.  We were seated next to each other so Kristen had a front row seat to the maternity session I was editing on the 5 hour bus trip.  She is one of those super sweet people who is able to seamlessly strike up a conversation with a stranger.  So we chatted a bit and exchanged info in case she should need a photographer somewhere down the line.  Lo and behold, a year later, she's pregnant with a little girl!  She got in touch and I went out to Brookland one weekend to document this special time.  Frankly, Kristen is a gorgeous pregnant lady who also happens to be a natural in front of the camera so this was such a joy.  I'm excited for Kristen's June-baby arrival.

 

Mamta and Danny

Mamta and Danny were all in for a long day of engagement portrait shooting our class did with Stephen Gosling (of Stephen Gosling Photography). Stephen may be somewhat new at this whole teaching thing, but he has a lot of knowledge to impart and is a fun, engaging guy.

Mamta and Danny are newly betrothed and fabulous to work with.  They're an incredibly sweet, energetic couple who did our class a solid on another grey day in Georgetown.

Emily + Matt : engaged!

I just returned from a trip back to my hometown.  My little sister graduated college and had a birthday all in the same day.  So it seemed a good time to go back!  She is such a strong, awesome grown-up gal now.  I am crazy proud of her.

Oh, and also she's getting married!  So we couldn't not take some engagement photos around downtown Norman, OK of her and her fiance, Matt, who is a sweet, handsome man. 

My sister and her fella are so gorgeous.  I'm really happy with these photos and I hope they are, too!
